By Jennifer Hu
I sing of life and long-lived dreams,
So many wonders at my feet.
I walked along a well-worn shore,
Bare feet traipsed a pebbled floor.
I saw across the ocean vast,
A sailor from a boat was cast.
He struggled great among the foam,
Tossed and battered and all alone.
I saw across the ocean vast,
The last few rays the sun had cast.
I ran along a mirror lake,
Leaving flowers within my wake.
I danced within a mushroom ring,
Dewdrops glittring upon my wing.
I flew away to see the moon,
She said, Come again to me in June.
I flitted across a shining star,
Collecting dust into a jar.
I went to catch a dragon rare,
But caught a dreamer unawares.
I dived into a waterfall deep,
And swam with glee at its feet.
I called out to the land below,
They answered back and said, Hello.
I called out to the sky above,
They smiled and sent some rain with love.
I sit upon a flower to sing,
To cast a spell of power to ring.
I pull at those unwary folks,
To fly behind realitys bulk.
I bring them back to suffer in vain,
Theyll never be so free again.
I am sweet, yet powerflly free,
Be careful of what I weave.
