It was just before dawn in my town, and the sun was begining to warm things up from a chilly Spring night. Birds were singing as they built their nests while the morning people were busy delievering newspapers or milk or feeding their livestock. The small mid west city of ... I'm afraid the town council has sworn me to secrecy on the name; was slowly coming to life. It was just like any other morning with one big exception. They were watching us, which wasn't unusual, but this morning a lot of them were watching.

In a large old Victorian house just outside of the city limits, I sat uncomfortably in a large antique chair wishing I had stayed home and worked on the city budget report and spared myself the excitement of my first séance.
